"Every Girl Deserves to Lead"
A transformative outreach program empowering young women across Nigeria with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to step into leadership and governance.

A total of 21 vulnerable students
received one-year fully funded scholarships
On Wednesday, 13th May 2026, iTeachAfrica Initiative hosted a transformative girls' outreach program at Government Secondary School, GUI, Abuja — a program that created a safe and inspiring space for young women to learn, ask questions, share experiences, and leave empowered.
The session brought together SS1 to SS3 students for a day of powerful mentorship, honest conversation, and life-changing support. At the heart of the event was a profound moment: Madam Hadiza awarded full scholarships to 21 deserving students — a life-altering act of generosity that the room received with tears, applause, and overwhelming gratitude.
Four Voices That
Moved a Generation
Each speaker brought a unique, powerful message that stayed with every girl in that room long after the event ended.

Madam Hadiza
Madam Hadiza's address moved the entire room. She spoke about believing in young women before they believe in themselves — and backed those words with 21 full scholarships, changing lives in real time.

iTeachAfrica Leadership
The iTeachAfrica team spoke on what it truly means to lead — not waiting to be chosen, but choosing yourself. Every girl in that room was reminded that governance starts with governing your own life.

Community Leader
An empowering session on financial literacy and economic independence — equipping girls with mindsets about money, opportunity, and building wealth through education and skill.

Youth Mentor
A powerful peer-to-peer conversation about self-worth, identity, and not letting society define what you can become. The girls asked questions, shared struggles, and left with renewed confidence.

21 Scholarships.
21 Futures Changed.
The most powerful moment of the day came when Madam Hadiza stood before the students and announced full scholarships for 21 deserving girls. The room erupted — tears, applause, and gratitude filled every corner. It was not just financial support; it was a declaration that these girls matter, that their dreams are valid, and that iTeachAfrica will walk this journey with them.
"Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive — and today, we are making that possible."
